The city is 35 minutes by train from Geneva and 20 minutes from Montreux which is nestled at the foot of the UNESCO World Heritage Lavaux Vineyard Terraces. Accomodation Hotel room reservations are held at a special rate for a limited number of participants at Hotel Aulac until July 17th and until July 10th at the Hotel Mövenpick (both within walking distance of the Olympic Museum) and at Hotel IBIS (15 minutes from the Olympic Museum). In the city From the airport Lausanne train station to Hotel Mövenpick: Take the M2 metro from Lausanne-Gare (direction Ouchy-Olympique) to the final stop Ouchy-Olympique (circled in red). From there, the Hotel Mövenpick (circled in maroon) is within walking distnce. Lausanne train station to Hotel IBIS: Take Bus 3 (direction Bellevaux) or Bus 21 (direction Blécherette) until St-Roch. Hotel IBIS will be 50m down the road. Hotel IBIS to Ouchy: Take Bus 21 (direction Lausanne Gare) until Lausanne Gare or walk until an M2 metro station (Flon or Riponne) and take the M2 metro (direction Ouchy-Olympique) until the final stop Ouchy-Olympique (circled in red). Ouchy to the Olympic Museum: The Olympic Museum (circled in blue) is within walking distance of the Ouchy metro stop (circled in red).
